Was he faithful?
P. Diddy or P. Didn’t He?
Sean “Puffy” Combs’ ex-girlfriend said in court papers they slept together at the time he was dating superstar singer Jennifer Lopez – then denied it later when reporters noticed the timing.
The accusations of J.Lowbrow behavior comes amid buzz that Puffy and supermodel Naomi Campbell have been going hot and heavy, smooching it up from the French Riviera to Miami to Los Angeles.
The charges are contained in a paternity suit filed in Manhattan Family Court by model Kim Porter, the mother of Puffy’s youngest son, Christian.
Porter said later there was “no overlap” and a spokeswoman for Combs called the charge “100 percent false.”
The papers, filed Friday, claim that the hip-hop impresario carried on a sexual relationship with Porter between 1995 and 2000. Combs has said he was “very much together” with Lopez between 1999 and February of this year.
Porter’s lawyer, Suzanne Kimberly Bracker, refused to comment except to say, “The papers speak for themselves.” Lopez’s spokesman refused to comment.
Porter, 27, started dating Puffy, who toyed with changing his name to P. Diddy, in 1994. She moved into his apartment in 1998, after giving birth to Christian. The pair broke up in 1999 when Porter found out about his relationship with J.Lo, a source close to her said.
They continued to be friends, however – and part-time lovers, the source said, adding that Combs would spend weekends with Porter and her two children in Florida and Europe, even while he was dating Lopez.
But Porter vehemently denied that yesterday, saying her physical relationship with Combs has “been over for a long time.”
“There was no overlap. It ended back in 1999,” she said.
Her lawsuit says that, while Combs “has acknowledged paternity of the child by furnishing support,” she wants an order declaring him to be the boy’s “legal father,” and a whole lot more money.
Combs has been giving her $6,800 a month as well as occasional lump-sum payments, but that’s nothing compared to what Porter wants.
The suit demands 17 percent of his adjusted gross income, and money for “a full-time live-in nanny, after-school programs, summer camps, lessons, extracurricular activities, tutors, sports programs, and private school tuition and expenses.”
Porter said the suit, which The Post first reported was in the works back in March, was just a formality, and the two sides are close to settling.
“He’s a great father and we’re working things out. The procedures we’re going through are standard procedures,” she said. “We just have to get everything signed, sealed and delivered with a court order.”
Combs’ spokeswoman, Nathalie Moar, took aim at Porter’s lawyers for filing the suit, charging they just want headlines.
“Mr. Combs is of the understanding this matter was resolved a month ago and is appalled by Miss Porter’s lawyers’ underhanded tactics. This is another example of ambulance-chasing lawyers trying to make a dollar,” she said, adding that Combs’ kids “mean the world to him, and, as always, he will continue to financially support them, no expense spared.”
Meanwhile, Combs, who has a notorious temper, apparently has found a new flame in Naomi Campbell.
Combs hooked up with Campbell, who reportedly has undergone anger-management therapy recently, on the French Riviera and they’ve been spending time together ever since, first in Miami and now in Los Angeles.
The two were together three nights in a row, starting with Thursday night’s opening of the Standard Lounge at Andre Balaz’s hotel on Sunset Boulevard.
On Friday, they showed up at a party for Dolce & Gabbana, and on Saturday, they were at the Beverly Hills mansion of supermarket mogul Ron Burkle.
“They had that look in their eyes. They looked like a couple,” one witness said.
Moar said, “It’s not true . . . They’re just friends. They’ve been friends a long time.”
