Jimmy  Snuka popularly known as (Superfly) was a professional wrestler, who died nearly half a decade ago, just days after his ex-lover’s murder case was dismissed. He was 73 years old and had been battling cancer for a brief period.

Carole Snuka, Snuka’s wife, announced in August 2015 that he had been diagnosed with stomach cancer. As a result, he underwent surgery to remove his lymph nodes, a portion of his stomach, and any visible cancer.
Snuka rose to prominence during the early 80s wrestling craze as a legendary villain of the World Wrestling Federation who transformed into a hero character, using jeering audiences, acrobatic leaps, and his famed Superfly Splash signature.

He was born James Reiher and grew up in Hawaii before becoming a professional wrestler in the 1970s. He made his WWF debut in 1982 when the organization was just getting started.

At the time of his death, he was survived by his four kids;  Tamina Snuka, Deuce, Ata Snuka, and Liana Snuka.
